NewFriendsRescue recieved a call of an abandon dog found by NYCHA worker in the bronx webster projects, Lexi had markings and wounds around through her whole body, Was used for breeding & dog fighting.
Things we done: Rehabilitate Lexi & changed her life

Minnie/Misty
Misty was a 14Yr owner surrender to NewFriendsRescue due to taken posseion by previous owner mother... there was a policy in the previous owner mother apartment, Misty was neglected and abused and spent "98%" of her life in a cage. Misty also was blind after being abused and not being taken to vet to be treated for eye injury As well along with stage 1 Cancer.
Outcome: Taken into our safety & Transferred to an amazing rescue that treated her immediately
She is adopted with an amazing family❤️
Jiggy
Jiggy was rescued by NewFriendsRescue on May 26th 2023 after we had received a call regarding an abandon pitbull tied up in the sun. Jiggy was very friendly with humans and turned out to be an amazing dog & very smart! jiggy is not animal friendly
Outcome: Jiggy was Neurted & Vaccinated on May 31st 2023 & gotten posted on the news then found an amazing family that is very lucky to have him!
Jiggy was adopted June 3rd 2023
Mia
Mia was surrendered to NewFriendsRescue by owner due to new apartment policy.
Outcome: Mia was held for a couple of days fhen transferred to a rescue that had an adopter

Princess
NewFriendsRescue had received a call regarding a pregnant dumped cat that was very scared and was removed from the street after being in shock from being dumped
Outcome: Princess is not pregnant just a very big cat! Waiting to be spayed and vaccinated to be available for adoption
Princess needs a foster OR a interested adopter
Bruno
NewFriendsRescue received a call regarding an abandon male pitbull tied up infront of a FDNY fire house. Bruno came in scared but very friendly!
Outcome: Bruno was turned into our rescue and is in our care waiting patiently for a forever family!
Bruno needs a foster or even a interested adopter!
Hunter
NewFriendsRescue was contacted by hunter previous owner regarding surrending Hunter because hunter was "Attacking".. Jeremiah Escobar responded to the owner address to pick up hunter.. 1 block down in a uber the owner decided notified Jeremiah Hunter was put into a bin with a top on (it was hot outside).. Hunter escaped the bin and hid under a car and was captured a few minutes after.
Outcome: Hunter has not been aggressive with staff members, He is neurted and vaccinated ready for a forever home or a foster!
Dextor
NewFriendsRescue was contacted regaridng an abandon dog running loose in crotona park. He seemed friendly & very happy... Probably happy to be found or happy to be away from the horrible owners he had that then dumped him.
Dextor was cared for by NewFriendsRescue & was posted all over lost and found pages since he did have a rabies tag. after 5 months Dextor was transferred to a different rescue to be adopted out!
Outcome: Dextor was transferred to Carols pet grooming salon & senior pet sanctuary and was eventually adopted out to a forever & loving home! Good luck dextor
